No cool air blowing from vents...

Hello,

I am seeking some advice on what could be wrong with my a/c unit. My unit does not have cool air blowing from the vents. Fan and Compressor running. Filter has been changed. I'm lost.

Welcome to the forums.

OK.... you have air blowing inside the house. You're telling us that the fan AND the compressor are running.

How do you know the compressor is running ?
How old is the system ?

Some ways you can check.....
- it's loud standing next to condensor.
- there would be warm/hot air coming from the top of the condensor.
- the larger of the two copper pipes connected to the condensor should be ICE cold.
...The larger of the two lines will be the insulated one.

As per PJ's info, you may need a refrigerant charge or re-charge. This best left to the pros to check and repair.
