Replacing existing thru-wall A/C unit.

Hi, I'm replacing an old Westinghouse thru-wall AC unit from the 80s. The dimensions on the current units is 26 7/8"W x 18 1/8" H. It's a 230v 20A 18500BTU unit. This is the unit I was considering using as the replacement: Frigidaire 18,000 BTU 230-Volt Window-Mounted Median Air Conditioner with Temperature Sensing Remote Control-FFRE1833S2 - The Home Depot

This new unit is 23 7/8"W x 18" H, I imagine I'll have to use shims to make it fit properly. Also the new unit is a 230v 15A and uses the 6-15p socket which seems like it fits the 20A wall socket. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

These are some pictures of the old unit:

I was looking at replacement thru the wall units.
The one you've selected appears to be the closest fit to your sleeve.

The only problem that can arise in replacing a thru the wall unit is that the vent openings aren't in the same location.
