Wire Heat Pump For AC Only
Good evening, am in the northeast and temporarily (for heat) installed an Amana Heat Pump and Spacepack Air Handler. I installed radiant floor heat and I want to wire the heat pump for AC only but not sure how to. I have five wires connected at the heat pump on the following terminals,
Heat Pump | Air Handler
Terminals | Terminals
R -----------------------------> R
O/B ---------------------------> W1T/OB
W2 -----------------------------> W 2
Y -----------------------------> Y1T
C -----------------------------> C
And the following from Air Handler to Tekmar TStat.
Air Handler | T-Stat
Terminals | Terminals
R ------------------------------> R
Y1 ------------------------------> Y1
G -----------------------------> G1
W1/OB ------------------------> O/B
Can someone advise how to just wire it for Cooling Only?
thx
Gary

Move the O/B wire to the R terminal and reconfigure the thermostat from heat pump to conventional.
