How to replace old TA2000 with White-Rodgers 1F95EZ-0671 wiring?
Hi!
I like to replace my old A/C thermostat ( TA2000 ) with newer thermostat White-Rodgers 1F95EZ-0671
I know, that wiring at TA2000 is now :
W2 - White
O - Orange
X - Blue
R - Red
Y - Yellow
G - Green
I have 2 questions please :
1.) How to connect all wires to White-Rodgers 1F95EZ-0671 when i have available :
L, C, RH, RC, O/B, 6, W/E, W2, G, Y, Y2
( RH is shorted with RC now )
2.) I bought that newer thermostat as used. Do i need to program it somehow ?
Thank you for advice!

Blue/X is C on the new thermostat. Otherwise everything is one-for-one. Leave the jumper in place.
Yes, you will need to review the settings in the new thermostat - Starting on page 5: https://climate.emerson.com/document...en-4209338.pdf - also https://climate.emerson.com/document...en-2884246.pdf

Thank you very much. I tried to install it and i wired X to Common. The heater is turning on and off in 1-3 secs after it start heating. Probably there is a defective thermostat, because i bouught it used at goodwill. I tried to switch connection White wire to W/E or W2 ( I think W2 is correct ), but it was not any effect. Thank you for your help.

You can't just move wires around to try them. That can damage a system.
What heater is turning on and off ? This should be a heat pump system.
Did you program the new stat ?
Did you put batteries in it ?

I know that i can't move them just to try. But W/E, W2 are heater outputs, so i think it should not defect the unit.
Anyway, When the Heat is on, the unit start fans and probably heater ( i did not run it for longer then few seconds , to avoid defecting the unit by on/off too frequently ).
I tried to program it, every section i set to ELE instead of GAS. There is few things that i do not understand clearly. I marked them on the picture. Is there any "universal" setting for Electric unit ?
Batteries are inserted.
Thank you!!

It looks like you have power stealing turned on at the W and the Y switch. Turn them off (since you have a common wire).
