Compressor wire lug
Can a compressor wire lug be repaired or is the compressor trash. Though about drilling a shallow hole next to broken lug and putting a very small self tapping screw next to broken lug
just don't know how deep I can go without penetrating through . Any help on this and is it doable

DO NOT drill.
Damaged terminals can be very dangerous. They can blow out from the refrigerant pressure behind and cause serious injuries.
What is wrong with yours? Did it overheat?
There are various terminal repair kits available. I’ve had moderate success with them.

Compressor lug
Black wire terminal burnt or broke off flush so the repair kit has no terminal.to screw the allen screw onto
I was only talking about drilling a small hole in the hard apoxy and maybe the screw would be tight next to the little nub that is left there

No, don’t drill anything in that area. There isn’t as much material as you’d think. A little to much and you’ll have a terminal flying out with 200 PSI behind it.
It sounds like it’s taken out the compressor.

Welcome to the forums.
DO NOT DRILL IN THAT AREA !! ..........Be sure to wear safety glasses also.
The terminal block can actually launch right out of the compressor. The refrigerant flying out could blind you. Take and post a picture of the terminal area or post the model number off the compressor. Some have repair kits available. How-to-insert-pictures.
