Need Help: home A/C unit dripping water
Need some advice.. My home AC unit is dripping water into my attic and causing water damage. The drip pan is dry but the water is dripping out of the corner of the unit itself in the attic. Is this a clogged drain line? If so why isn’t it diverting water into the pan? And if it is a clogged drain line what’s the best way to clear it? I tried blowing into the open T PVC but it doesn’t seem restricted or blocked. And there is a gurgling and thumping type of sound coming from the bathroom sink drain below the unit.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

A lot of times you get dirt and crud in the pan, at the drain outlet, that prevents the water to flow out.
You need to turn the power off, take off the exterior panels and see what you have.
Sometimes the drain connections can be disconnected and the pan removed or you just have to get in there and clean up the gunk!

Welcome to the forums.
We're going to need to see pictures. Condensate lines are rarely installed like they should be.
