Goodman Airconditioner HVAC

What might be the reason for air blowing out the exhaust vent when unit is running and when it is off at the thermostat? Unit is approx 12 years old. I have lived in the home 2 years. This has just started to occur. Filter has been replaced.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

Hard to follow the problem.
Not sure what an exhaust vent is.
Do you mean a furnace exhaust.... draft inducer ?

Yes, draft inducer. Sorry about the lack of clarity. I replaced the thermostat and the fan running has been controlled, but air still comes out the draft inducer on the exterior of the house.

If the draft inducer is running it should be trying to fire.
If you installed a Nest.... you may need to connect a C wire.
