It limits the flow of water to equipment, such as your hydronic HVAC system.
Instead of me explaining to you how it works it would be best for you to read the information provided you about your hydronic HVAC system and its installation so you'll know why you have it and how the control valve works.
I recently repaired my girlfriends Air Conditioner. It was a blown capacitor. I would like to clean her evaporator coil but after watch some utube and getting into the compartment, the evaporator coil looks nothing like the one on utube. I cannot figure out to access the bottom of the evaporator to clean it. If you want pics please send me an email at Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx I can’t figure out how to add photos. Thank youRead More
My compressor burnt the common wire and post off. The unit is old but it has worked well for us. Now it’s time to go with a r410a system. My first question is every chart I’ve seen shows for a 2,000 sq. Ft. 4 tons will work just fine. The existing one is 5 ton, why? We do live in S. Louisiana. Could that be the reason? My wife and I live on a fixed income and anything we can save on the replacement would be incredible. Also could I just upgrade the Acoil and not change the whole cabinet out? I plan on doing the demo and the install myself which includes flushing the lines, brazing the connections , evacuating and recharging the system. If I can use the same cabinet my back would certainly. Any suggestions and info would truly be appreciated. We have a couple of window units that keep us from suffocating. Our son is getting married on September 2nd so we have to pay for that first. So we decided to hold off on the AC until after that. We have some time to educate ourselves. By the way it’s a heat pump.
