Removing hardwood floor polish from bamboo floor

So this beautiful bamboo floor had Hardwood floor polish put on it, which caused the floor to be hazy and streaky, when before, the bamboo was shiny and nice. Don't ask me why this was done, it's in the past now, lets just say it was a bad decision. Either way, it needs to be removed so the bamboo can be restored to its original condition. Any advice from experience is welcomed!

Does the label of the product give any advice? Posting what actual product was used might help get you a better answer.

Yes, I did mean what does the bottle of floor polish say on it about removing the product if spilled or otherwise applied somewhere undesired.
