Drop ceiling options
I'm curious as to my options for drop ceilings. Specifically the different companies that offer products (I know of Armstrong. What other companies are there?) and whether the grid systems are cross-compatible across different manufacturers. Could I use a cheaper grid system from one company and the panels from another?

Generally panels are interchangable between brands of grid. But the parts themselves are not.

There is no industry standard but there is a loose standard that is adhered to the ASTM.
