Load bearing wall

How do you tell if a wall is a load bearing wall?

Generally will be perpendicular to the joist structure in the house, have a double top plate and be supported all the way to the ground.

Look below and above the wall to see if there support above or below.
We have 0 info if this an inside, outside, wall.
What direction the wall runs in reguards to the floor and ceiling joist.
Single story?

There are two different walls I am inquiring about.

Wall one:

Runs perpendicular down the middle of the house in the basement and I have attached two pictures of this wall, picture one and picture two.

Wall two: this wall runes parallel to the ceiling joists. Both of these walls are in the basement of a cape code house.
