Wide pull down attic stairs
Do they make the pull down attic stairs wider than about 24-25 in. The hall way is 36 in wide. I would like something about 30-34 in. The builder had put an attic opening (have to use ladder) in that is about 34-36 in wide.

Thanks for the info about the Heavy Duty Wood Attic Ladder. Now can I cut the ladder part down to fit my ceiling height? The floor to plaster board of ceiling is 95in. I do not see why I could not cut some of the ladder ( rungs,probably one) out. The worst I might have to do is move a step up a little if I had to move the step up off the floor. Yes the step might not be the best distance apart but it would be only me going up and down.
