Gas Powered Boiler
Hello - I have a gas powered boiler used for baseboard heating and it has developed a terrible sulfur smell. I had my yearly maintenance done to it roughly 3 weeks ago. I've also had the gas company check for leaks. The smell only comes when it fires up, then it slowly dissipates. I'm at a loss at what could be causing this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

By "gas"..... can we assume natural gas ?
Is is a gas small or a burned gas smell ?
First guess would be some type of draft problem.
Does your boiler use a standard gravity chimney or draft induced ?

After you show us the name, model number and the design of the boiler we can better ascertain the problem with your boiler. Sometimes a very lean flame will give off an odor and a very rich flame that is making carbon will also give off a different odor. Did the service person make any changes or adjustments to the gas input or air mixture that you know of ? What type of chimney does the boiler vent into ? Can you see the flame when the boiler is firing , if so what is the color of the flame, is it blue or yellow or something else, and is a sharp or lazy flame ? A picture of the boiler would be a great help.

Sorry for the delay, been out of town. Boiler is a Crown.
I've made an imgur album, hope that's allowed. https://imgur.com/a/FA2Dj

Definitly a gas issue... Flame is not strong and looks yellow...
Possible draft issue or gas valve issue..
Need to have a manometer test done at gas valve and a flue combustion analysis..
Possibly heat exchanger clogged up...
Do you have cast iron heat emitters? Like radiators or cast iron baseboard?
Possibly condensation issue cause...
Let us know..
Your probably getting flame roll out.. I would remove burners and clean them at a minimum..
