in floor heat

my son just built a 40x60 building ,insulated with in floor heat. We are presently using a hot water heater
for heating the water. It is not very efficient and we would like to go to a tankless on demand water heater, but dont know what size or the best brand to buy. Any suggestions? Thanks

Have you determined that a tankless with enough rise to heat the water sufficiently can run on your existing gas supply? Generally speaking, tankless heaters are a lot better on paper than in real life.

floor heat

Good mornin, I have to give you my 2 cents worth on tankless heaters. I added radiant heat to my ranch home (Conn) and initially used my LP water heater. But I realized tankless was my best option. That was 7+ years ago. I hadn't done any research at that time so I went with the contractor I was most comfortable with. That said I LOVE it. I also heat with wood but there is so much to be said about a "warm" floor. I would say have someone local do the installation with a unit they can service.
