In the middle of a remodel and needed to disconnect and move / re pipe 4 radiators. I believe this is an old steam system converted to hot water. The loop in the basement has much larger pipe than the 3/4 " piping supplying the radiators. My question is the radiators on the 2nd floor were plumbed in series with the radiators below for these rooms. Can I put tees in the supply/return lines in the basement and plumb the radiators individually or should I plumb them in series like before? I would prefer to plumb them separately to be able to get 90 percent of the system back up and running and after the rooms on the first floor are redone install those radiators. Thanks BB

Hello, I'm trying to connect a zone valve from Calleffi to a Honeywell Thermostat. The scope is to open/close the valve when a temperature is reached, nothing else. The valve doesn't control any boiler or pump. I don't know how to connect the wires with the thermostat and what needs to be plugged in. I attached the schema from the valve manual + a picture of the valve itself. Looks slightly different for me.
