High temp adhesive for brick veneer?

Installing brick veneer around a direct vent gas fireplace that is sealed in the front by a glass panel. Model is GNRC33

The heat from the fireplace mainly comes from the top "vent" of the fire place on the front into the room. I was wanting to install a brick veneer around the fire place. And after feeling the heat that comes from the fireplace I don't think a standard mastic will work. is there something that is recommended for installation around a fireplace? As most of the construction adhesives I have found are only good up to 120 F and the temperature that I measured got right around 120 so not comfortable using it at the top of its rating.

thanks for any help.

I would suggest calling tech support for one or two of the major manufacturer's of construction adhesives and see what they can suggest.

I would use a modified thinset, or a masonry produce, rather than something that comes out of a tube or bucket.
