Sort of, not going to be able to cut all the way through and the blades not going to last long.
How many bricks do you have to cut?
What exactly is it your trying to do?

I like a cheap diamond blade in a circular saw. You will need to cut from both sides or one side and finish with a wide chisel and a hammer blow.

i like dia blades, too,,, altho a brick hammer & brick chisel are popular,,, kind of depends what you're trying to do & where the brick's located - in your hand, on the ground, still in a cube, OR mortared in place already
