Old basement floor

I have an old home, built in 1905 with a very thin basement floor. The floor is so thin (1/2" or less in some spots) that there are actual pieces of concrete missing and just dirt exposed. I would really like to clean the floor up down there and maybe make it more appealing, keep in mind this is a fieldstone basement so I dont want to spend a ton of money or effort on it.

I just want a nice layer around the thin area and would like to make sure it doesnt start cracking right away. Any ideas? My basement is roughly 30x18

How much head room do you have? IMO the only thing that would make it look nice is to pour a new floor.
