DIY epoxy for concrete crack on the wall.
I am trying to see if I could fix the cracks on my garage, 20ftX25ft, by myseld.
There are several floor to ceiling long cracks (8ft tall, 4-5"thick) over the years.
One is at a corner, where two sides meet, the crack is about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch wide.
One is in one side of a wall, the crack is about 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
What kind of epoxy is used to fix the crack? Can I do it DIY?
thx

I may be in a city of madness, not joking.
I have friends who has their foundation wall cracked like 2" apart. Called pro. The only thing the pros did was to inject epoxy...
That's why I wanna do epoxy on my wall.
Or else, what to do?

A crack that size is likely caused by a foundation or footing problem. The building is likely settling or somehow moving to open up that size crack. Go ahead and epoxy or mortar the crack. If the building continues to settle the crack will likely open up further and you'll need to repair it again. If the building is done moving then the repair will likely hold. The only proper repair is to address why the building is settling.

Looked at PC-Concrete two part epoxy, and Emocole.
Any preference?
Also, Emocole has staples for bigger cracks. Will adding the staples crunbble up the wall?
Thanks a lot

If the 8" thick concrete structure holding up your home is cracking do you think glue and staples will stop/fix it?
