wood shelf with brick on one side, metal rail on the other

I want to put up a wood shelf outside.
The brick wall on the left, I was going to use 2 L brackets.
However, how can I secure the right side of the wood to the metal rail?
I could just balance it over the edge and use a clamp, but was hoping for something more permanentName: 20170519_144912.jpg

I would probably just put a short piece of wood on the bottom of the shelf on each side of the rail to kind of lock it on there so it cant move. But you could also use a pair of cable clamps... the kind with 2 holes that goes around a conduit before it is screwed to the wall.
