Cost of Interlocking Paver Driveway

Trying to get a ballpark idea of the cost to replace my concrete driveway with an interlocking paver system. I checked with RCP and can get the paver blocks at about $2.50/sq. ft. I'm figuring $4,000 or less for my 900 sq. ft. driveway for materials (including sand & gravel). What about labor costs (S. Calif.), including demo & hauling of existing concrete? I had one estimate at $15K for the entire project, but that seems high. I'm weighing the option of making this a do-it-yourself project. Thanks.

Labor and material cost differ greatly by region. You are in one of the higher cost areas. Best you can do is get three estimates. If one is wildly different from the others, you'll have to ask why. Get it detailed and in writing.
