resurfacing concrete sidewalk cold weather
Is there any feasible options/methods for resurfacing a concrete sidewalk during cold weather specifically between maybe 33 degrees and 40 degrees, using Sakrete type stuff or whatever. Would like to be able to accomplish it without having to wait until spring or summer. Or is it pretty much out of the question when temperatures aren't warm enough?

best thing you could do is rent some heating blankets and make sure your substrate has been warmed for a couple days. Remove the blankets at the last minute. If you are mixing it yourself, use warm water and warm mix in a warm machine, inside a warm shop, if possible.
truck it out, lay it down, work it as usual. Don't work it too wet it will take longer to bleed off (this is when it not freezing is critical) then float it.
after it is set enough that it won't mark up, you can cover it up again.

helluva lot easier to wait for proper weather conditions,,, otherwise just grab up your bed's electric blanket,,, what's the hurry ? where does 1 rent elec curing blankets ? curing conc's exothermic - the idea is to trap the heat during cold temps to aid in the hydration process

when do you expect a couple 50* days in a row w/temps in the 40s @ nite ? here's another idea,,, IF your apron/vest store carries ' cementall 'that cures very rapidly,,, prep the area the day before then cover the area @ nite to preserve what heat gain it got during the day's sunlight,,,, color the mix wtr w/wtr-bas'd pigment from sher-wms, then have at it,,, uncertain if you have the skill - certain you don't have the experience,,, otherwise wait for warmer weather[,,, you should be able to git 'er done by august
