sealing asphalt driveways and repairing cracks in the fall

My asphalt driveway has several large cracks that need to be patched before it gets cold so the cracks don't get worse over the winter. The driveway hasn't been sealed in several years so this needs to be done as well. Can asphalt driveways be sealed effectively when the weather is only in the upper 60s/low 70s during the day and dips down in the mid/upper 50s at night? Or would it be best to patch the cracks now before it gets too cold and wait until the Spring to reseal the driveway when it is warmer?

Shouldn't be a problem to seal it now. It might dry/cure a little slower with the cooler temps. You should be ok until you start getting frost at night.
