Question Cementing gap between driveway and paver walkway

I’ve installed paver walkway next to asphalt driveway. There’s a 1 or 2” gap between where pavers meet driveway. Is it ok to just fill it with cement mix, and how should I mix it. I worry that concrete is too rough for such gap. Is there some premixed solutions I can use (i.e. for crack repairs, etc.)? I appreciate any suggestions.

I would just fill with the same polymeric sand used for the pavers!

Thanks that’s a good suggestion. Gap is pretty large tho, they recommend polymeric sand for joints up to 1-1/2”
