About 10 months ago had a professional crew do my backyard - they placed blue stone pieces and polymeric sand - overall I'd say they did really nice job.... However, recently I noticed, especially after a heavy rain that the polymeric sand is eroding - it gets washed away and seems to be crumbling or forming even some gaps. As of now it's only few spots here and there..... Not sure what to expect from it..... shouldn't the polymeric sand be more like cement and really lock in and form solid barrier that can't be washed away...even under heavy downpours ?? Anything I should / could do to "harden" it ? Reinforce in some way ? Thanks !

Seems as though my daughter can not avoid driving on the grass. So I decided to eliminate the grass and add this triangular section on my apron. Do you think it's necessary to put down some metal mesh or just some crushed stone will do the job. In most cases it's only the front tire that occasionally will hit this spot. Also I plan on cutting out the cracked section of sidewalk, squaring it off and relaying it. But first the apron piece.
