Mix of Water and Quickrete

I want to mix a small amount of Quickrete from a 10# bag. Don't think I'll use all of it. I'm thinking half of the bag. What's the amount of water to use?

I just add by eye. Start with an amount you know is less than you'll need. Then add more water. As you think you are getting close on the amount of water add it in much smaller amounts as it seems when you are close to the right mix a little water goes a long way.

It doesn't take much water to mix dry concrete or cement. Add it in very small amounts and mix thoroughly. Then normally let set about 1 to 5 minutes, remix and pour.

I also always mix it by eye. If you accidentally add too much water just add a little more mix.
