I had this poured about 3 weeks ago, with a gray additive. And it still has white blotches. how long should it take to cure and clear up? I live in SoCal and it's been anywhere between 50 and 80 degrees. It's been unseasonably cool but I think that it should have been cured by now.
Regarding cure time, it depends on the mix used but typically concrete reaches about 99% of full strength in 30 days. The white spots could be permanent due to the way it was mixed and finished... or the way the bleed water evaporated... no way for me to tell from just a photo. But imperfections like that are often removed when the countertop is polished... which can be done after just just few days.... and sealing after 5-7 days.
The stones have separated (cracked in one place) in several places in my walkway.
how should I fix? The local Home Depot folks were not helpful.
see pics attached. Thanks in advance.
FYI — I’m in the north fork of LI.

Help! While landscaping this week at a rental property, I noticed 2 rotting posts on the porch. Post #1 is rotting near the soil line below/in between the poured concrete post (pictured) and post #2 rotting on the top of the concrete porch.
I need help wrapping my mind around the severity of this problem. We plan to hire a licensed contractor, however, I have no idea how involved this work would be. Does anyone have an idea as to the scope of work? Are we talking a few hundred, a thousand, or even more? What considerations are there when assessing this type of damage? (And how does one prevent future damage like this from occurring?)
Any thoughts or insights would be incredibly helpful.
