what would YOU masonry guys do right here?!?

what would you guys familiar with masonry do right here? i want to make it square and straight for a door? should i jus get rid of as mush loose material as possible? then put brick where it would fit and make it straight with mortar? what would do with the top

Looks a little narrow, does it need to be widened out any for your door?

wouldn't widening it out 6" take care of all the jagged brick?

I would saw cut where you need the opening.

I agree with saw cutting and would recommend only cutting the left side as seen in the picture.
The right side looks fairly square and stable.

Pay mind to the lintel between the top of the brick and framing.
It looks like it's holding up the patched framing.
