Sealing strip between countertop and range.

It took me as long to type this as it did trying to figure out where to post it.

What would you use or what have you done to seal the area between the countertop and the range ? I don't want to use silicone. I'm looking for something to maybe add to the counter so that the range can still be pulled out for cleaning.

For some reason.... whenever something spills it runs right to that seam.

Robot Check

You want a counter spill guard. If you don't mind, I'm going to pretend that I really knew that such an item existed.

I don't know why the site says Robot Check?

There's also the type that's just simple small angled aluminum. I've seen them in a few homes and they look pretty decent.
