Keeping bench from tilting in on itself

I want to replace the rotting wood on this bench, but how can i stop it from tilting one way or the other? Is there some sort of support i should be using?

Here is a video of it from the back

There should be either support brackets on each side going towards the middle or wire/rod cables that can be tightened up. You might want to flip it over and give it a look see - maybe post a pic of the bottom side.

Agreed. Also that wood seems pretty weathered. Do the bolts tighten up or will they go right through the wood if you tighten them?

Bench

The back support slats are supposed to prevent the racking. When the wood begins to rot, the first areas to go are the bolt holes in the slats. The rotting around the edges of the bolt holes allow the racking. Bracing is needed as mentioned above.
