Kitchen with pine finish painting?

Hey guys

fairly new to this so please be gentle

Photos attached are of my kitchen, due to time constraints i am hoping to quickly face lift without sanding them right back or re-doing completely. Can anyone recommend any products/methods that can be applied without sanding back the existing coating?

Appreciate your help :-)Name: 20170428_174849.jpg

Sanding is always best! Doesn't need to be sanded down to bare wood, just a scuff sand to give the primer good adhesion. You could wipe the cabinets down with a liquid deglosser and skip sanding [be sure to follow instructions] I normally do both. You'd then apply a solvent based primer followed by 2 coats of your choice of enamel; oil base, latex or waterborne [any sheen]

btw - that's probably maple or birch, not pine

I would give them a cleaning and a light scuff sanding followed by a couple coats of oil based polyurethane, which would darken them a bit.

Unlike over raw wood, oil base poly won't deepen the color of the finished wood much. It will amber some over time.
