Should I install same baseboard in the closet

I have 5"H very decorative baseboard all around my apartment, adding now to the room that has a closet with out doors, (might install sliding door rail on top in the future or just leave it open) . Should I install same baseboard inside closet (I have wire shelf system not build-in)?
IF so, should I put casing around "closet opening" or just install baseboard as corner going in?

I prefer to have the same base throughout but it's not a big deal to use a cheaper/smaller base in a closet providing there is a jamb/casing to break up the difference.

I installed jambs (door frames) with casing around all my bedroom closet openings.
It gave me the option of keeping the area open or adding doors.
I guess the same can be done without jambs, just the casing around the drywall opening, but a pine jamb paints better.

I've painted a few houses where they used casing but no jamb. The drywall return got caulked to the casing and enameled along with the casing/base. IMO a wood jamb looks a LOT nicer!

What is a jump?
IMO big baseboard in the closet [that matches the room] doesn't look odd. I've painted miles of base like that. Besides once the clothes and shoes are in the closet you don't see much of the baseboard.
