Quarter round issue.

Quarter round issue.

I am joining two rooms using a T-moulding that will be higher than the flooring in each room. My problem is somehow adjusting or connecting the quarter rounds over that T connector.

Maybe the picture will show different but most likely you will need to end the 1/4 round on each side of the transition.

Yes, when I transition quarter round (prefer shoe) at a transition piece like a t molding, I shave the shoe to feather onto the t mold so it is a seamless transition. Without pictures of your specific situation, I am only speculating.
