Reinforce bench

I hope I am in the right place for this question!

I recently bought this wood bench for my dining table. We had started to notice that the bench feels weak in the middle. Is there a way for me to reinforce the bench / make it more sturdier so that more than 2 people can sit on the bench? I have attached pictures showing what the under side of the bench looks like. I hope someone can help!!

Thanks!

Cant tell how that center board attaches to the two end pedestals s but I think two boards sistered onto that center board, under the bench, and attached to the end pedestals would all a lot of stiffness.

Adding a 'leg' in the middle attached to the spreader would also help.

The center board under the bench is attach by the 2 screws into the bench and then 2 larger screws on the side of the pedestal. Honestly, it wasn't a well thought through bench if you ask me. I will definitely try out your idea! Thank you!!
