Looking for conceleaed hinges ideas for picture frame

I am looking for ideas on what hinges to get to mount a picture frame onto a wall, allowing me to "open" the frame as a hidden area cover.
Standard hinges woudl be visible...

I am not sure whether a plain hinge woudl work. If the picture frame clears the wall the hinge woudl need to be installed on the side, sticking out slightly? Would be visible when looking form the side.

that might work - if the picture frame allows for drilling a hole for the cup.

I would imagine you would need to build a box or jamb that would be recessed into the wall. You would then use a plate mount (mounted to the side of the jamb) full overlay 35mm hinge... like you say, as long as the frame is 3/4" -thick, because the cup bore will be 1/2" deep.

Here's a box designed to hide guns. The hinges would not be visible.

A medicine cabinet might work also, replace the mirrored door with a picture frame.
Either way the interior box will need to stick out from the wall a little but I don't think it will be noticed.

You could also add a child lock similar to this, There is no way to open the door unless you know where the magnet is located:
