Fixing door panel - detached

Fixing door panel - detached

Hello,

I am trying to figure out see the best way to fix this door bottom that seems to have become detached
from the frame ... see picture
would a little carpenter glue and weight on it do the trick ?

I remove the door from the hinges. Then I gently insert something to hold the veneer away from the door's frame so you have room to work. Then I smear wood glue on the door's frame. Pull out your spacer and clamp or stack weights on to hold the veneer in place until the glue dries.

I'd do the same but add some brads to hold it tight. Putty and paint will hide the brad heads.

Either wood glue or liquid nail will work.

When you take it off the hinges and glue it, you will want to use a 1x4 (on edge) and some quick clamps to keep pressure on the wood glue. Wipe off any wood glue that squeezes out with a wet cloth. Keep it clamped for a couple hours. Should be good to go after that.
