Building staircase & podium (for theatre)

Hi there!

For our (very small) school theatre, I'd like to build some curved staircase with podium. I'm aiming at something like that:

https://static1.squarespace.com/stat...G?format=1000w oder https://i.pinimg.com/originals/50/d2...3564ae089f.jpg

It doesn't have to look exactly like this.
The overall height (podium height) should be around 150cm [5 feet], one curved staircase (left or right) is sufficient.

Do you have any ideas and hints how to build something like that easily, with leight materials, which materials and components could you recommend?

Kind regards

Is this going to be a fixed structure or something that will require moving? If it requires moving, you would probably want to make it more of a modular design, i.e. several pieces that could be connected, but able to come apart to move. Here in the US I would probably recommend plain pine lumber; plentiful, fairly cheap, and lighter than some other species, although it is still likely to be fairly heavy. Not sure what lumber resources you have in your area.
