Cabinet doors and hinges

So it’s been awhile since I last made cabinets, so I did some online research and ended up on information overload.
I’m building kitchen cabinets and I’ve got the boxes built and hung/installed, and am ready to start building the doors. I forgot what overlay works best for face framed cabinets, and what overlay hinges to use. I have stiles to separate double door cabinets and was planning on making the doors overlay the frame a 1/2 inch all the way around and using concealed half overlay hinges on all the cabinets.
Am I on the right track? Anyone foresee any issues? What do most of you do on face frame cabinets for doors and hinges?

That's what I did when I built our kitchen cabinets. I just doubled checked and the doors overlap 1/2"-3/4"

Sounds like a great project. Most of the cabinetry I've seen uses a 1/2" overlay with concealed cup hinges. It would probably be hard to go wrong with that. If you make your own doors (I typically buy mine; it's cheaper, faster, and better than I can do it myself) be mindful of the bit profile that you use on the outside of the frames. Some of them cut in deeply enough to interfere with the bore holes for the hinges. Hope this is helpful.
