Foaming Carpet Cleaner

Foaming Carpet Cleaner
There is a lot of "how to" on the web about mixing your own carpet cleaning solutions. I like the
foaming stuff in spray cans. Obviously, the compressed liquid becomes a foam as it exits the
valve and the pressure drops.
I've got one quart, two quart, one gallon, and two gallon tank sprayers. Is there any combination
of chemicals I can mix in a tank sprayer that is similar to the foaming product from spray cans?

Did you try reading a can of foaming spray ?
Most foaming sprays are basically a liquid that foams when released under pressure.

I'm not trying to duplicate how a spray can works with a tank sprayer. Can't be done.
It's silly, but I'll quote myself.
"Obviously, the compressed liquid becomes a foam as it exits the valve and the pressure drops."
Go into Home Depot and start reading the info on any of the cans or bottles. The chemical
companies must provide hazard warnings but very rarely list any ingredients. State and federal
laws allow them to protect their "secret" formulas. It's easy enough to learn all about the chemicals
in cleaners and solvents if you google the subject.
I would bet at least one dollar that someone has mixed chemicals in a tank sprayer that produces
similar results to a spray can of foaming carpet cleaner. I was hoping someone at this forum
had the recipe.
