Oil scent stain on dining table

Hi, Sadly I spilled some scented oil on my dining table and it now has a horrible dark stain. Any suggestion how I can get rid of it?

Welcome to the forums.

Any idea what finish, if any, is on the table? Without knowing, I would start with mineral spirits.

Mineral spirits would also be my first choice. It shouldn't be too difficult to remove the stain if it's on top of the finish but it almost looks like it's soaked thru it

There is a lot of "how to" on the web about mixing your own carpet cleaning solutions. I like the foaming stuff in spray cans. Obviously, the compressed liquid becomes a foam as it exits the valve and the pressure drops. I've got one quart, two quart, one gallon, and two gallon tank sprayers.
