Three sliding closet door problem.

Hi Team, the builder of my home put up three sliding doors but on only two parellel tracks. This way, you cannot open the closet wide enough to get in. Can I swap out the track to allow all three doors to be on their own track.

You can do anything you want. That's an unusual application so you may have a hard time finding track or brackets specifically to do it though you can make something yourself. Keep in mind that your track and door assembly will now be three doors thick. Also, if the doors are not closed in the proper order you will have a door thickness' gap between them. Personally I'd remove the sliding doors altogether and frame it to have two hinged doors.

Johnson door hardware is held to be the best, easiest to mount and adjust. Here is a link. Johnson HardwareŽ MULTI-PASS SLIDING DOOR HARDWARE

Look for 3 door sliding multipass.
