Considering new HP laptop
I've been eyeing this laptop for a while and they just lowered the "open box" price again. It has W7 pro 64 bit with a license for upgrade to W10 pro.
What are your opinions ? I'm going to be in that area on Tuesday afternoon.

You may already be on your way so I don't know if I'm too late. It's not a bad deal but don't let them talk you into that Anti Virus deal. MS Office is up to you. Libre Office is a free alternative. 8GB memory with an i5 processor is really all you need unless you do heavy graphics. When you enter the store, the computers are against the back wall. What time will you be there?

I didn't know if you needed some protection from the salesman. I sent two women there for a Lenovo & they came home with an HP. Keep the focus on what you want. Don't let them change your direction. I'll be working around the house. If you need help, let me know.

Nothing yet. The van needed some repairs and ate into the laptop fund.
