Windows 10 S
You may or may not have heard of Windows 10 S yet and if you haven't please read on. I was watching You Tube and found out from a You Tuber that you should avoid Windows 10 S at all costs if possible. The reason being is that in this version of Windows 10 Microsoft restricts all downloaded software and installation disks of any kind.
The reason you might be asking yourself is why? It is because of the app store that Microsoft has they want a commission on the sales of all apps including those not made by Microsoft. So if a new computer is on your wish list during this holiday season watch out. If you do get stuck with a computer that runs Windows 10 S you can fix things so that everything works your way by buying an upgrade for about $50.00 according to what I heard
Of course some of this makes sense if you run a school system and don't want children to possibly download malware. So from a security stand point it makes sense for schools but certainly not the average user. So it eliminates somewhat the possibility of malware being installed but not entirely.

Windows 10S is Microsoft's answer to Apple's iOS (think your iPhone) and Google's ChromeOS or Android, where all apps are installed via the app-store or play-store. Microsoft is seeing how tablets are taking over the market and they want to make sure they have a player in that game.

That's the FAQ. It's supposedly an answer to chrome OS. At best, as Hedgeclippers said, it's for school.
