roofed pergola: rain gutter of free fall?

Hi,

If I'm doing a pergola with a roof (3% pitch), should I have a gutter or let the rain free fall from the roof end? The gutter creates some technical issues and will also make all water flow to one point in the yard (4 feet away from the house). It will also require cleaning. On the other hand, free fall of the water will go to the floor below (not the grass), so may make noise, damage the floor(?) and maybe other things I didn't consider.

(I live in warm climate, no snow, sub zero temperatures etc.)

Thank you

I think pictures will just look complicated

It is basically attaching another slightly sloped roof to one side of the house. It is about 10 feet deep. At the end (far side from the house), should I have a gutter or let the rain just fall to the floor below (the floor is 11 feet deep)?
