How much can I save by doing the tear out myself.

Replacing a 16x32 foot patio Probably 3 inches thick with wire mesh. I don't mind the hard work. Any ideas of an approximate percentage of a concrete job goes towards the labor of the demolition?

Do you own a skid loader, walk behind concrete saw, or hydrolic jack hammer, dump truck?
That's going to be at least 17,120 Lb. of concrete to remove.

I would think in a replacement situation like that you would get two prices.... the demo and the replacement..... and if it's combined.... request both separate.

I loosely estimate well over $1k if you do the demo yourself. The catch here is that you have to find somewhere to dump the concrete for free.
