Clean Wash Products: Cedar Wash & Deck Wash

These are hydrogen peroxide based products. Has anyone tried these? Easy to use? Was the old stain removed? How does it stack up against the harsh chemical strippers/cleaners? Any info would be appreciated.

They are mostly for cleaning grime/mildew off of the deck/siding. They are more user friendly than bleach although I almost always use bleach because it's cheap and effective. Care must be used with bleach because if you mix it too strong [never stronger than 50%] it can damage wood fibers and the run off can harm vegetation if it isn't rinsed well. Generally a cleaner will only remove stain if the stain is about to fall off anyway.

Hydrogen peroxide is a decent cleaner but I wouldn't pay much for these, bleach is just so cheap and does a good job, as Mark explained.
