Max reveal between French doors

Hi
Had a French door installed.
The reveal around the doors is about ⅛".
Door open/closes fine. However
The reveal between the two doors is 4/16 (")
Is that too much? Should have installation revised?

Sounds a little wide but for all we know, that's normal for your door. You havent given us any details. Is it an interior door or an exterior door? Upload a closeup picture of the hinges when the door is wide open so that we can see if they are adjustable..

Not sure who installed it but they missed a 101 install step.
The door came with a plastic bag with longer screws in it to fit those empty holes in the hinge so the jamb will be attached to the jack studs.
As a rule of thumb I like to see about the thickness of a nickel, much tighter and the door will not swing open.

I don't think 1/4" is too much a reveal on the closure plane. If it opens and closes well, it will seal well. Don't drive those long screws too hard, or you will open the reveal even more. Just snug them up.
