Noticed a couple chips in the white railings I just painted - Is this normal?

Just got done taking a couple months to prep, prime and paint my deck wooden railings and today as I was cleaning the deck itself (I know shoulda done all the cleaning while cleaning the railings) I noticed 3 small chips about 3mm in diameter on the top rail. It's down to the bare wood. I primed before painting and let it dry long enough.

I did have the garden hose though hanging over the rail from down below maybe that did it?

Is this just normal for painted railings?

How long ago did you paint the railing? It can take latex paint a couple of weeks to fully cure.

Hopefully it just got hit too hard chipping the paint and not an adhesion issue. Not a whole lot you can do other than touch it up and pray the paint job looks good for a long time

Yeah, it appears to be stuck good in most other places. Only time will tell I guess lol.
