Deck with pergola: Feedback on plans?

I've attached some of the plans I've come up with for the deck/pergola I'd like to build. I'd like to switch from using bolted/sandwiched 2x10's for the beams to using a direct support approach. Doing this would mean I can't use continuous posts for the deck and pergola support though. Any suggestions on this?

I'm not sure if I'm being unnecessarily cautious about this, but I'm also not sure if I can run the full span of the pergola without a support in the middle. These plans do call for skipping the post in the middle of the rear pergola beam. This is done to increase the usable space on the deck where I plan to put a table. One alternative I'm considering is doubling the beams to create a single 4x10 instead of sandwiching the posts with 2 2x10's.

These plans are wholly my own design. Any resemblance to existing designs, living or dead, is unintentional and purely coincidental.
