Sliding Screen Door Question

Hi all. New homeowner here, so please excuse me if I should have figured this out on my own. To my credit, two people with more experience than I have looked at this and come up empty.

I want to put a sliding screen door on the door to my deck. There is a track for one, and a hook, and I even got the thing up before noticing this issue.

The regular door frame is made of metal (aluminum?) but I can't tell if that's true for the bottom of the half of the slider that doesn't move. At any rate, as you can see in the picture I have attached, there appears to have been some settling over the years or something. So the bottom has expanded, or bent, or I don't know, to the point that it's about half a centimeter off.

That little bit is enough to stop the screen door I want to put in from sliding. It's essentially functioning as a permanent and unwanted lock.

I want to fix this, to get it back in line, but I don't know how. If I push on the affected area, the door frame moves in slightly, then immediately bounces back.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
